2026 HGA Exciting News
We are thrilled to announce that the Borough of Highlands New Jersey Asset Activation Plan was a recipient of the 2025 Monmouth County Planning Board Merit Award. HGA is honored to have played a role in the preparation of this Plan, which envisions a redesign of the Borough’s James T. White Shellfish Plant to establish the site as a unique regional destination including a more efficient clam depuration plant plus the addition of an on-site educational maritime museum facility.
HGA extends a congratulations to the entire project team, including the Highlands Borough Mayor and Council and the Clam Plant Steering Committee, whose leadership and collaboration were vital throughout this process. An additional congratulations to all other recipients of this year’s award! It’s exciting to learn more about the innovative planning efforts taking place in Monmouth County.
In other news, we are pleased to welcome Associate Planner Langley Oudemans to our team. Langley received a Master’s of City and Regional Planning with a concentration in Environmental Planning from Rutgers and brings a background in climate resilience and state planning.
