The Borough of Island Heights is a small, historic coastal community located in Ocean County. HGA was retained by the Borough to create the 2017 Master Plan Reexamination that was based on the goals and objectives of the 1997 Master Plan and subsequent reexamination reports. 

The Reexamination updated the goals and objectives to reflect existing conditions. The Plan recommended updating several Master Plan Elements, including land use, housing, and historic preservation.
